Royal wedding
13th October, 2011
The land of thunder dragon is blessed with another historic function of happiness. Among many other auspicious dates, 13th October, 2011 will be one of the most memorable dates in the history of Bhutan. It was much awaited date for the fellow citizens of the tiny nation. His majesty the king Jigme Khesar Namgay Wangchuk formally wedded Queen, Ashi Jetsen Pema Wangchuk on this auspicious day. The nuptial ceremony was performed   traditionally, culturally and spiritually in Buddhist way. It is celebrated as royal wedding day across the nation in their own way. Behind the success of a man, there is always the story of woman. A man for woman and woman for man is the indispensable and natural phenomena of physical world. Hereditary Wangchuk dynasty may continue forever and serenity and contentment would soar ever higher in the land of happiness. May god bless royal couple with good health, long life, fulfill the desires and lead prosperous life ahead. I offer my deepest prayers on this joyous occasion to commemorate happy royal wedding.  HAPPY ROYAL WEDDING!
