The ethos of Gross National Happiness is very young concepts which is only a wish that is not taken place in action and it has thousand miles to go ahead to achieve it. It is a Universal Model for peace and development. Thus, education is the guiding principle to embark towards fulfilling the aspiration of GNH. Youth and teacher as a nation builder and peace maker, the idea and concept of GNH should uphold from early learning itself. As children have greater role in the future, they must be nursed and immunized with the genes of GNH values. Therefore, the concept and ideology of GNH is now indispensable underlying principles in our curriculum. The school where GNH principles are in practice will be the good centre for teaching and learning (true source of lifelong wisdom). This school will look like an ideal place for learning in the utopia. Teachers are like parents, students are like children and family, their school is safe, caring and supportive environment (absence of abuses, bullies, corporal punishment, gender bias and harassment, etc.) like their home. Principal is the epitome in a good school with GNH visions and takes lead role in building a school with holistic and sustainable development based values. To fulfill the goal of GNH everybody must work with the common goal of living peacefully and making others peace. Though it sounds quite exigent to follow its principles, but initiative and changes should come from within and understand as an individual, citizen and nation as a whole. We remain in unity for liberty in diversity. So, school is the place where we nurture our citizens of tomorrow and learning must fit forward in line with the principles of Gross National Happiness.
